Workday Financials – BA

Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support and enhance our Workday Financials environment. The role will act as a key liaison between Finance, Business, and IT teams to analyze issues, improve financial processes, and drive automation and optimization initiatives.

Serve as the primary liaison between business users, Finance, and IT teams.

Support and enhance Workday Financials modules including AP, AR, Procurement, Expenses, and Financial Accounting.

Conduct business process analysis to identify workflow improvements and automation opportunities.

Gather, document, and manage business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Recommend system enhancements to improve efficiency, controls, and data accuracy.

Partner with technical teams on Workday configurations and third-party integrations.

Support UAT, change management, and post-implementation validation.

Monitor KPIs and drive continuous process improvement.

Stay current with Workday Financials roadmap and best practices.

8+ years of overall experience; 2–3+ years with Workday Financials.

Strong knowledge of finance processes (GL, AP, AR, Procurement, Budgeting, Reporting).

Proven experience in business analysis, process mapping, and stakeholder management.

Experience with automation, workflow optimization, or analytics initiatives.

Familiarity with Workday reporting, integrations, and financial data structures.

Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills.

Workday Financials certification (preferred).

Experience in shared services or global finance transformation programs.

Knowledge of analytics or automation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx).
