Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineering
Adecco Staffing is partnering with a local manufacturer in Woonsocket, RI seeking an individual for an immediate opening for a Mastercam programmer. The individual will be responsible for all aspects of CNC programming.
Responsibilities- Develop programs for fabricating parts on CNC machine tools for2, 3, and 4 axis milling machines.
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints, sketches, drawings and specifications to ensure best practice machining methods.
- Sequence of tool operations
- Setup requirements.
- Determine methods, tooling, feeds, speeds, and all other requirements necessary to produce the products placed on CNC equipment.
- Approve all programs to ensure that they are trouble-free before releasing to manufacturing.
- Prepare instructions for machine set-up and operation for operator.
- May require assisting with job set ups at peak workload
- Handles special projects, as assigned.
- Expertise in programming to tight tolerances
- Minimum 2 years programming in Mastercam 10
- Knowledge of CAM and CAD software
- Competent in G-code programming
- Familiarity and experience with the operation and programming of Haas and Fanuc controls.
- Solid understanding of routing and tooling procedures.
- Excellent math (trigonometry) skills and programming skills.
- Low-volume high-mix job shop experience highly preferred
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
