Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele Float RN for a 13‑week contract assignment. The ideal candidate is flexible, highly skilled in both Med/Surg and Telemetry care, and comfortable floating between units in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across Med/Surg and Telemetry units as assigned
• Perform comprehensive assessments and continuous cardiac monitoring
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments per protocol
• Interpret telemetry rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
• Accurately document patient care and clinical findings
• Adapt quickly to unit workflows, policies, and staffing needs

Requirements

• Active RN license (state-specific)
• 2+ years of recent Med/Surg and Telemetry experience
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Ability to float between units as needed
• BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS (AHA) preferred (or required, if applicable)
