RN - TELE

Evening shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, every other weekend, with additional weekend night requirements on Friday and Saturday.

The Med/Surg Tele Float Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to cardiac patients in a progressive care unit (PCU) and assisting with cardiac catheterizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac nursing, demonstrating proficiency in caring for post-catheterization patients and those with complex cardiac needs.

• Provide direct patient care, ensuring the safety and well-being of cardiac patients.
• Assist in cardiac catheterizations and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care and cardiac health.

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele experience.
• At least 2 years of cardiac experience required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Rhode Island nursing license or appropriate compact state license.
• Nursys report within the last 30 days.
• EPIC experience preferred.
