• Healthcare Setting: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Med-Surg Telemetry Float
• Assignment Type: Travel RN job
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• End Date: April 5, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Nursing Shift: Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other Friday and Saturday night
• EMR System: EPIC

• Active RN license (Rhode Island compact state nursing license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• 2+ years of recent cardiac nursing experience, including post-cardiac cath care
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
• Ability to float between PCU and Med-Surg Telemetry units
• Submission of resume, skills checklist, two professional references, and license/certification verification

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to PCU and Med-Surg Telemetry patients, focusing on cardiac and post-cath care
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR system
• Float between PCU and Med-Surg Telemetry units as needed
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
