Shift: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Schedule: 3x12s | 36 Hours Per Week
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks | Immediate Start

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract. This high-acuity role requires a professional capable of managing critical patient care, including hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and emergency response in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Critical Monitoring: Perform comprehensive assessments and continuous monitoring of vital signs, ECGs, and physiological parameters.
• Advanced Interventions: Administer and titrate complex medications (vasoactive drips, sedatives) and manage life-support equipment, including mechanical ventilation.
• Collaborative Care: Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans.
• Patient Advocacy: Provide essential emotional support and education to critically ill patients and their families.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of recent ICU experience in a hospital setting.
• Licensure: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certifications:
  • BLS: Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support.
  • ACLS: Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
• Skills: Proficiency in advanced cardiac life support, IV insertion, and central line care.
