Counter Sales - Woonsocket, RI

Job Title and Location

North East Electrical is looking for a full time Counter Sales Associate to join our team in Woonsocket, RI.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm

Salary Range: $25 per hour plus commission

• Taking orders over the phone, in person, and via our digital tools.
• Entering stock, special, direct, and back orders as required.
• Providing customers with information and a demonstration of our online solution for fast and easy ordering through our website.
• Supporting the Branch Manager with transferring, warehousing, receiving, and shipping of stock and special material.
• Displaying and stocking material in counter and showroom; participating in promotions as they occur.
• Performing other duties as required or directed by the Manager.

• Strong computer skills with emphasis on Excel and website navigation.
• Strong customer service/communication skills; electrical or construction experience is helpful.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes.
• Dependable and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 lbs using manual and PIT equipment.
