Location: On-site in Wooster, OH
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities (Bookkeeper):
Record financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting principles.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
Track and manage expenses, invoices, and receipts.
Prepare reports on financial performance for management review.
Assist with tax filings, including sales tax, payroll tax, and income tax.
Monitor and manage petty cash accounts.
Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting materials.
Maintain accounting systems and suggest improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications (Bookkeeper):
High school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Xero, Fresh Books) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
