The Wayne County Care Center is currently accepting applications for the position of part-time Activity Assistant for the County’s 50 bed skilled/intermediate care nursing facility.
Responsibilities- Create, organize, implement meaningful social and recreational activities to engage residents
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly events that meet the interests of each resident
- Provide activities that stimulate the physical, mental and psychosocial well-being of each resident
- Ensure charting and all documentation is completed in accordance with current regulations
- Communicate with all departments about activities to ensure residents are provided with the best experience in order to provide quality service
- Must participate in facility inspections, as needed and perform administrative duties
- Must be FUN, ENERGETIC, FLEXIBLE and have a POSITIVE attitude
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year experience in long term care
- Experience in Point Click Care preferred
