We are looking for motivated individuals who are detail-oriented and exhibit a strong desire to learn and grow. While managing a 24/7 production operation, the Daisy Brand Maintenance Team strives to provide a work-life balance with an average of 45 hours/week. Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the efficient and safe operation of all areas of the plant, including processing, packaging, warehouse, and utilities. Technicians will collaborate and problem-solve with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams.

The ideal candidate will have skills in electrical, mechanical, and controls. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and maintaining automated equipment such as fillers, case packers, palletizers, process systems, ammonia refrigeration, high-pressure boilers, air compressors, and building utilities.

Skills Electrical
  • Understanding of electrical schematics and documentation
  • 480V 3-phase troubleshooting and wiring
  • Low voltage controls
  • VFDs and servos
Mechanical
  • Welding (MIG, TIG, Arc)
  • Pumps, valves, gearboxes
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Mill and lathe operation
Controls
  • Allen Bradley PLCs (SLC 500, PLC 5, Logix 5000) troubleshooting and programming
Manufacturing
  • Familiarity with conveyors, palletizers, case packers preferred
  • Utilities including boilers, air compressors, ammonia refrigeration
  • Waste water systems
Other Duties
  • Adhere to food safety and quality protocols
  • Follow GMPs, housekeeping, and safety practices
  • Perform general building maintenance as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or G.E.D.; technical certifications preferred
  • Ability to follow GMP and safety requirements
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software (CMMS) preferred
  • Experience in food/dairy production environment preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work standing, bending, lifting, twisting
  • Ability to multitask and work with a team
Pay Rate

Compensation based on experience and qualifications, with additional premiums for off-hours (10%) and weekend work (15%).
