• Assist in preparing and filing accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Compute taxes owed, identify potential deductions or credits, and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
• Support the tax team in researching and interpreting tax laws to provide accurate advice to clients.
• Analyze financial data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with team members to implement and maintain effective accounting and recordkeeping systems.
• Assist with developing budgets and preparing periodic financial reports comparing projected and actual expenses.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial statements, ensuring completeness and adherence to procedural standards.
• Participate in internal and external auditing processes as required.
• Provide general support to the accounting team and management as needed.
