About Us: The Convenient App is transforming the convenience retail industry through a digital platform that connects customers with local gas stations, convenience stores, and retail shops for seamless ordering, in-store and curbside pickup. As we enter the final development phase of our platform, we are expanding our team and looking for a highly driven Sales Director to lead onboarding and partnership growth across the U.S. convenience and retail market.
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly professional, proactive, and results-oriented Sales Director to spearhead our business development efforts. The ideal candidate will take ownership of identifying, engaging, and securing partnerships with companies and franchise owners operating gas stations, convenience stores, and retail outlets. This role is central to our growth strategy and is best suited for someone who thrives in a startup environment, is comfortable working with a small, agile team, and takes initiative with minimal supervision.
The Sales Director’s progress and performance will be closely monitored by the CEO and COO, with regular collaboration and strategic alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and engage owners and decision‑makers of gas stations, convenience stores, and retail businesses.
- Develop, manage, and execute a strategic sales pipeline to onboard businesses onto the Convenient App platform.
- Conduct outreach, virtual presentations, product demos, and in‑person meetings to pitch partnership opportunities.
- Negotiate and close collaboration agreements aligned with company goals and partner needs.
- Work closely with operations, onboarding, and product teams to ensure smooth partner activation.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with partners, supporting them during early adoption phases.
- Actively participate in internal team meetings, share insights, and contribute ideas to improve sales strategy and execution.
- Track key sales metrics, prepare progress reports, and support strategic planning initiatives.
- Represent The Convenience App LLC at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or partnerships, preferably within retail, convenience, fuel, or technology sectors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a confident, professional presence.
- Highly proactive, self‑driven, and willing to take ownership and responsibility for outcomes.
- Experience working in a startup or small‑team environment, with adaptability and hands‑on involvement.
- Ability to manage a high‑volume sales pipeline and consistently meet onboarding targets.
- Comfortable collaborating closely with leadership and receiving direct feedback.
- Practical, interactive, and solution‑oriented mindset.
- Experience using CRM tools and structured sales reporting systems.
