Position SummaryThe ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience managing commercial drywall projects. You’ll be responsible for overseeing all phases of drywall construction — from pre-construction through project closeout — ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability. A strong understanding of framing and drywall systems, excellent leadership skills, and proficiency with industry software are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of commercial drywall projects.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, architects, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Prepare project budgets, schedules, submittals, change orders, and reports.
- Monitor job progress, quality control, safety compliance, and profitability.
- Resolve job site issues and conflicts promptly and effectively.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with codes, specifications, and quality standards.
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial drywall construction.
- Proven ability to manage drywall projects from start to finish in both occupied and new construction settings.
- Proficient in construction software tools such as On-Screen Takeoff, Plan Grid, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred but not required.

This is a full-time, in-person role based in Springfield, MA
, with occasional travel to job sites in the surrounding region.
