** Scope of Practice
*** Perform comprehensive eye exams and contact lens evaluations
* Diagnose and manage a full spectrum of ocular diseases and conditions
* Prescribe corrective lenses and therapeutic treatments
* Provide urgent and emergency eye care when needed
* Exercise autonomy in clinical decision making
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the system
* Ensure continuity of care for patients throughout the system
** Practice Environment
*** Outpatient clinic within a large, academic medical center
* Serve a diverse patient population with a robust referral base

** Qualifications
* ** Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited program
* Licensed (or license-eligible) to practice in Massachusetts
* Board certified or board eligible in optometry
