Hiring Range
$225,000 - $525,000. The final offer may vary within this range based on candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
UMass Medical Group seeks a surgical pathologist to join our growing team. We welcome and support applicants from all Academic Ranks to apply.
UMass Memorial Health is the premier health care provider in central Massachusetts and is the teaching hospital of the University of Massachusetts. The department has over thirty faculty members and offers a variety of practice environments through our subspecialty academic pathology practice and our community pathology practice, with a combined volume of approximately 90,000 surgical pathology and 35,000 cytology specimens per year.
The subspecialty anatomic pathology services include all organ systems, and our faculty has rich interactions and close connections with health care teams in many other clinical departments and divisions. Preference will be given to AP or AP/CP board-certified pathologists with fellowship training or equivalent experience in head and neck (ENT) pathology, thoracic/lung pathology, cytopathology, bone and soft tissue pathology, gastrointestinal pathology or molecular pathology, but candidates with other subspecialty or general anatomic pathology interests are also encouraged to apply.

QualificationsEligible individuals should have the following qualifications:
- Must hold an MD or DO degree and qualify for a Massachusetts license
