Position
Adjunct instructors will teach courses in HVAC/Refrigeration to a diverse student population on our main campus in Worcester and/or at additional satellite locations within our service area (i.e., Southbridge and area high schools). Courses may be assigned for days, evenings or weekends, and responsibilities include instructional preparation, assessment of student performance and assistance to students. Adjunct faculty will attend a limited number of faculty meetings.

Adjunct Faculty postings are for potential part-time, non-benefited, positions during the academic years.
Applications for adjunct positions will be held in applicant pools by discipline which, whenever a position opens up in any given discipline, will be consulted when searching for candidates to fill the position. Applicants for adjunct positions will not be notified of their status unless they are contacted to come in for an interview, which might occur soon after applying or as much as a year later.
ResponsibilitiesLead and support HVAC/Refrigeration courses for a diverse student population. Prepare instructional materials, assess student performance, and provide assistance to students. Attend a limited number of faculty meetings.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in HVAC/Refrigeration.
Preferred Qualifications
- HVAC/Refrigeration teaching experience.
- MA Refrigeration license.
- EPA 608 Universal Certification.
