OVERVIEW The Senior Study Abroad Advisor at College of the Holy Cross supports student success through comprehensive advising, program administration, and coordination of study abroad opportunities. Reporting to the Director of Study Abroad, this role manages an assigned portfolio of programs, including Maymester offerings, while helping students navigate all phases of the study abroad process. The position also serves as the lead for the Student Global Ambassador program and contributes to outreach, orientation, and relationship management with international partners.

The role combines advising responsibilities with operational coordination and collaboration across multiple program activities.

• Provide advanced advising and support to student participants throughout all phases of study abroad
• Manage administration for an assigned portfolio of study abroad programs
• Support and coordinate Maymester program administration and logistics
• Lead recruitment efforts for Maymester programs
• Maintain relationships with international partners
• Coordinate orientations and outreach activities related to study abroad
• Oversee the Student Global Ambassador program
• Support student engagement connected to international education initiatives

Effective advising and administration help ensure that students are supported throughout the study process and can successfully participate in global learning opportunities. This role contributes to student engagement and institutional international education efforts by helping manage programs, maintain international partnerships, and guide students through complex program planning and participation processes.
