Senior HVAC Engineer - Mission Critical

Locations: Virginia, Texas, Chicago, Phoenix, Boston & Atlanta preferred, but open to strong candidates nationwide

An established, growing consulting engineering firm is seeking a Senior Project Engineer - HVAC to join its Mission Critical practice. This is an opportunity to work on complex, high-profile data center projects while joining a team with strong technical expertise and opportunities for long-term career growth.

• Lead and support the mechanical/HVAC design of mission-critical and data center facilities
• Develop HVAC systems from concept through detailed design and construction
• Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, architectural, structural and other engineering disciplines
• Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle
• Work directly with project teams and clients to solve complex design challenges
• Support QA/QC and help ensure projects meet technical and client requirements
• Mentor and collaborate with junior team members as appropriate

• Minimum 5 years of data center / mission-critical experience
• Strong HVAC/mechanical building systems design experience
• Experience working on complex, highly reliable facilities
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination and communication skills
• Consulting engineering background preferred
• PE license is not required
