Key Responsibilities- Complete annual re‑examinations for an assigned caseload and ensure uninterrupted housing assistance.
- Notify clients of scheduled meetings, interview clients (including home visits), and verify all income, assets and expenses.
- Document the verification process, calculate subsidy amounts accurately, and enter all pertinent data into the mandated software system.
- Send required notifications to landlords and participants in a timely manner and conduct orientation for new voucher holders.
- Verify income and family composition eligibility, determine adjusted income, and calculate the participant’s share of rent and subsidy levels in accordance with federal/state HUD and DHCD regulations.
- Process interims income changes, family composition changes, contract rent increases, move examinations and issue vouchers.
- Perform lease‑ups, process housing assistance terminations, and maintain communication with applicants, participants and landlords.
- Process all incoming and outgoing port transfers to and from other non‑profits or housing authorities.
- Review monthly and quarterly EIV reports, report compliance issues, and maintain accurate documentation and certifications.
- Refer clients to community resources and collaborate with agencies and landlords to support positive tenancy and sustained housing assistance.
- Coordinate job activities with agency personnel, cooperate with federal and state monitoring officials, auditors and others, and pursue professional development.

Experience
Requirements- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in housing and/or social service agencies or related experience and/or training.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and software systems.
- Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills.
- Highly motivated self‑starter with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Bilingual:
English/Spanish preferred.
