Saint Vincent Hospital invites a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide acute care services on a per diem basis in Worcester, MA. The role focuses on evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs for patients in an interdisciplinary team environment.
Onboarding ProcessCandidates must successfully complete a background check, pre-employment health screening (including a drug screen), and obtain State licensure to practice in Massachusetts.
Responsibilities- Respond to physician orders for physical therapy.
- Administer and interpret tests and measurements of patients.
- Review patient charts and progress prior to treatment and modify the treatment plan accordingly.
- Develop functional goals based on patient and/or family expectations.
- Improve and restore functional mobility, seeking to return the patient to the highest level of independence.
- Seek clarification of physician orders as needed.
- Education:
Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate Physical Therapy. - Experience:
Preferred 2 years of practicing PT in a healthcare setting. - Certification:
State Licensure in Massachusetts.
