As a TM, you will work closely with clients to address their behavioral and communication needs, promoting growth through strength-based, client-centered support.

If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of youth and their families, we encourage you to apply and become a key part of our therapeutic mentoring team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide structured, strength-based mentoring to youth (and occasionally adults), focused on developing age-appropriate social, emotional, and daily living skills.
  • Support clients in navigating challenges related to communication, social interactions, and self-regulation.
  • Establish a positive, supportive relationship with clients, using a strength-based approach to build trust and encourage personal development.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including In-Home Therapists (IHT), to help implement treatment plans and achieve therapeutic goals.
  • Document all interactions and progress notes in accordance with agency standards and within required time frames.
  • Assist clients in identifying and accessing community resources, promoting independence and skill-building.
  • Work with caregivers to support the development of effective caregiving strategies and enhance family dynamics.
  • Attend regular supervision, team meetings, and trainings to ensure high-quality service delivery and ongoing professional development.
Essential Skills
  • Empathy, active listening, and a strengths-based approach to working with youth and families.
  • Ability to model and teach appropriate behaviors and coping strategies.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Timely and accurate documentation of all services provided.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, or related discipline).
  • Experience working with youth and families in a therapeutic or mentoring capacity is preferred.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish effective relationships with youth and their families.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health, youth development, and community resources is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and adherence to state driving regulations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards in all client interactions.
