The Protein Science group within Biologics and Genetic Medicine seeks a talented scientist to develop advanced and robust LC-MS analytical methods for the bioanalysis of various molecular formats, such as peptides and proteins.
Key Requirements:
- Basic understanding of LC-MS, , Western blotting and other protein characterization techniques
- Sample handling and preparation of sample for peptide mapping and proteomics
- Basic instrument operation and maintenance
- Documentation:
Accurate record-keeping of experiments and results - Data analysis and interpretation of the data
Responsibilities: include sample preparation for mass spectrometry and other related analytical techniques, such as Western blotting, SEC-MALS, ELISA, and spectroscopic methods. The candidate will also maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments, including biological sample extraction systems, HPLC, and LC-MS.
Education and Experience: Bachelors degree, Masters preferred. PhD would be overqualified.
