Clinical Dietitian – Compass One Healthcare

The position is located at Morrison Healthcare cent, an acute‑care, 300‑bed hospital in central Massachusetts. The schedule is Monday‑Friday with the addition of every 5th weekend. A RD credential is required.

Job Summary
We are seeking a Clinical Dietitian to join our Nutrition Team. You will provide medical nutrition therapy—including assessment, diet modification, education, and interventions—for the patient population. You will follow company policies and procedures, comply with regulatory standards, mentor staff and interns, and participate in quality improvement programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical nutrition therapy and education to patients.
- Follow the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accrediting agency standards, HIPAA, and patient rights.
- Train and mentor patient services staff and interns.
- Participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility‑wide quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Credentialed Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- License by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board as required.
- Preferred:
One year of hospital experience. - Proficient with Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, diet office systems, and nutrient analysis software.
