Minimum Requirements- Education:
Formal 2‑year radiologic technology training in an AMA‑approved school meeting ARRT registry requirements. - Experience:
At least two years in an acute care setting with specific experience in CT Scan (computerized tomography) components. - Licenses/Certifications:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in computed tomography; OR
- Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification (NMTCB) in computed tomography; OR
- ART(R) or NMTCB certification AND documented training on computed tomography.
- State license if required.
- American Heart Association BLS.
- CT registry within 6 months.
- AHA BLS.
TRA CT Tech:
The CT (Computerized Tomography) Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic procedures utilizing radiation detection and imaging equipment. Provides quality care to patients of all age groups; from newborn to elderly, according to department standards. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
