Travel Physical Therapist - Skilled Nursing Facility

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Long Term Care setting, requiring 1+ year of PT experience and LTC or Rehab background.

• Minimum 1 year of PT experience required
• New grads considered if they completed a Level II clinical experience (not just Level I observation)
• LTC or Rehab setting experience required
• Active MA state PT license required
• License required if applicable
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

• Long Term Acute Care setting within a Physical Therapy unit
• 13-week assignment with day shift, 8-hour shifts
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Responsibilities include screening, evaluating, and rehabilitating patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care needs
• Develop and adjust individualized plans of care using standardized assessments and evidence-based practice
• Administer manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, ambulation training, modalities, and wound care as part of rehabilitation
• Provide consultation to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders
• Communicate patient progress and treatment plans with supervisors and healthcare team members
• Document all treatment minutes and clinical information according to regulatory and company requirements
• Supervise and support physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students as needed
• Participate in required meetings including patient care conferences, utilization review, and rehabilitation meetings
• Adhere to APTA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethical standards
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment
