You will create wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for our clients and their families and educate them on matters of insurance and powers of attorney. To guarantee that an estate is managed in accordance with the estate owner's intentions, this role demands a high degree of responsibility.
We are searching for an applicant with substantial experience in estate planning. Please apply if this sounds like a great opportunity!

- Advise clients regarding retirement plans, charitable giving, and insurance options
- Draft and file wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
- Communicate with clients about plans for dispersing their assets
- Confer with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move through the civil litigation process

- Work directly with clients on their estate planning needs and ensure that all questions are answered and all revisions are completed prior to signing
- Revise document drafts
- Manage legal workflows
- Work effectively with the estate planning team to ensure that the client experience exceeds expectations
- Make sure all deadlines are met for review of documents and that drafts are sent to the client in the timeframe as set out in the Representation Agreement
- Provide open and transparent feedback and communication with the Estate Planning Team and clients
- 100% accuracy, 100% of the time, in drafting legal provisions that exceed paralegals’ drafting (specific legal clauses, appropriate orchestration, and flow of planning tools)
- 100% of estate planning drafts sent to clients within the timelines set out in the Representation Agreement, or an updated timeline communicated to the client
- Wide range of knowledge regarding real estate-related topics such as title insurance, wills and trusts, property management, and litigation
- Excellent communication skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations
- Must have worked on estate planning and probate law issues for at least 1-2 years
- Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required
- Active membership with the ABA (American Bar Association)
- Active Member of the Massachusetts Bar Association
$90,000 - $100,000 per year
