Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Neurology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Neurology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders, including epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and other neurological conditions. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including medication management and non‑pharmacologic interventions.
  • Conduct regular follow‑up visits to monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide education and support.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure a multidisciplinary approach.
  • Provide patient and family education on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize patient care delivery.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments to accurately diagnose and treat patients with neurological conditions.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in long‑term care or a skilled nursing facility.
  • Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
  • DEA license.
  • CPR BCLS/BLS certified.
  • Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing.
  • Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • A year of experience in Neurology.
  • Preferred experience in documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided.
  • Must have great organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6‑8 hours per day.
