American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse
- Telemetry for a night shift position requiring MA RN licensure, 2 years of telemetry experience, and Epic charting proficiency.

• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00-07:00
• Unit covers Neuro Surgery, Neuro/Tele, ENT Surgery, and Orthopedic overflow
• Required to work every other weekend
• Union facility with no special scheduling accommodations; must be able to work all 7 days
• Epic EMR experience required

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Skills in neurological/neurosurgical care including craniotomy, CVA, intracranial bleeds, lumbar drains, post-TPA care, and seizure disorders
• Skills in respiratory care including BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tubes, tracheostomy care, and oxygen administration
• Skills in IV therapy, central/peripheral line management, and blood product administration
• Cardiac monitoring skills including dysrhythmia interpretation/management and rapid response team utilization
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher

• Must complete pass/fail medication and telemetry exams during orientation, each with one attempt; failure results in contract cancellation
• Study materials provided during the compliance process and FDIs to help prepare for required exams
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Minimal RTO available (2-3 days); no RTO allowed during the first week of assignment
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate within a 75-mile radius
• Returning staff must have a 12-month separation from the health system
• Candidates with priors on their nursing license will not be considered
• Only one position submission allowed at a time per candidate
