Salary: $58,460.00 - $79,500.00

Summary

Ensures the overall store provides excellent customer service, product availability, and maintains appropriate store conditions. Assists the Store Manager with daily store operations, including customer service, merchandising, human resources, and budgeting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Consistently deliver fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service.
  • Assume full store responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Assist with management of all store departments, including: F.D.S., Payroll, Sales, Profitability, Merchandising, Cash Controls, Operating Expenses, and Income.
  • Ensure proper use of the Applicant Tracking System and meet staffing needs for full-time and part-time associates, addressing retention and turnover issues.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate training programs (OSHA, Sexual Harassment, Basic Skills, Orientation, Type 10).
  • Coordinate W.O.T.C. process to maximize credit.
  • Monitor the Associate Evaluation process across departments.
  • Ensure wage and hour policies are followed.
  • If applicable, oversee the Staffing Clerk reporting to the Co-Manager.
  • Enforce dress code and personal appearance standards for associates.
  • Manage operating expenses to meet budget goals, including wrap, general liability, repairs, safety, and related costs.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation laws, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the Samples and Sales Program, ensuring proper procedures are followed.
  • Control shrinkage through adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain excellent customer relations by smiling, making contact, and thanking customers.
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • Must be at least 18 years old.
    • Good performance reviews.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Ability to manage teams and follow through to achieve results.
    Education and Experience

    High School diploma or equivalent.

    Physical Requirements
    • Exposure to hot and cold environments (occasional).
    • Constant standing and walking.
    • Frequent grasping, bending, pivoting, twisting, and lifting (up to 50 lbs frequently, up to 75 lbs occasionally).
    • Occasional pushing, pulling, squatting/kneeling.
