Overview

Bench Assistant Receiving Manager at Price Chopper Supermarkets - Market 32. Summary provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Responsible for the back door operation at store level to include vendor, DSD deliveries as well as Warehouse deliveries. Must maintain a neat and clean back room area both inside and outside the retail unit. Stocks depleted shelves with promotional and regular items to promote an optimal opportunity for sales.

Ensures that all LPD policies are adhered to with regard to Back Door receiving.

• Responsible for receiving all grocery and general merchandise product delivery through the Back Door operation of the retail unit (includes DSD/vendor and Warehouse deliveries).
• Ensure that all standards and procedures regarding billing/invoicing are adhered to and maintaining DEX equipment.
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation, according to 5S standards, at all times.
• Consistently work to provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
• Processes and scans damages according to CGO markdown procedures.
• Print all CGO orders when they arrive at the store.
• Provide Trade Partners with Dolphins to cycle counts when necessary.
• Assist Trade Partners and the Grocery Department Managers in achieving Trade Partner service levels.
• Maintain corporate and state sanitary and safety conditions in the Back Room, storage and outside areas.
• Ensure that all LPD policies are adhered to with regard to the Back Door operation. Ensure that all damages and reclaims are worked daily and weekly to corporate guidelines.
• Stock empty shelves and promotional displays when not overseeing the Back Door operation.
• Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
• Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper internal and external customers.
• Greet customers with a smile, eye contact and thanks upon fulfilling their requests.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Strong communication skills.
