Summary

Price Chopper/Market 32 Supermarkets is accepting applications for future part-time openings. There are a number of departments within the store. A brief description of each department is listed below. Most hiring activity occurs on the front end and night crew, but we do hire individuals with previous experience into other departments. Price Chopper/Market 32 has a history of promoting from within.

We post all our full-time positions internally, so a part-time position could lead to a long career with us if you possess the drive, motivation, and desire to help our customers.

When you complete the application, you can list up to three departments that interest you and/or select "any department" if you are willing to work anywhere in the store. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Front End - The Front-End is the hub of Six-Star Service, an associate recognition program that guarantees top-notch service to guests.

Bakery - The Bakery offers a sweet environment where you can help create homemade artisan breads. If you are interested in baking, this department is for you.

Pharmacy - If you are a Registered Pharmacist or Pharmacy student, we offer opportunities to fill prescriptions, provide health counseling, and deliver friendly service.

Floral - Our Floral department uses to allow guests to see and customize their orders, build bouquets, and record purchases. If you love flowers and plants, consider a career here.

Deli/Food Service - Our Deli offers high-quality meats, salads, and sandwiches. If you enjoy slicing, dicing, and preparing food, this is a great department for you.

General Merchandise - This department includes first aid, seasonal products, and a variety of non-food items.

Grocery - The Grocery department is the company's anchor, offering staples and the latest packaged foods. If you enjoy stocking and merchandising, consider a career here.

Meat - Our Meat department features fresh, high-quality cuts. If you are interested in providing quality meat to families, this department is suitable for you.

Produce - Our Produce team offers a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, including organic options. If you like educating guests about healthy eating, this is the place for you.

Seafood - The Seafood team provides fresh seafood from local and global sources. If you want to help guests select and prepare seafood, consider this department.

We offer various positions, from part-time with flexible hours to full-time managerial roles.

Minimum Qualifications

Strong communication skills
Ability to read and write at the 8th grade level

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent (or pursuing education)
