Job Description:
Field-based Territory Role – Covering New York & New England area (NY, MA, RI, CT, VT, NH, and Maine)
• Minimum of 4 days in field, on the road, and approximately 50 overnight stays annually.
• Must be able to visit NYC every 3-4 weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement territory coverage plans for optimal account coverage.
- Conduct 85% in-person sales calls.
- Use Salesforce to manage partners and customer data.
- Forecast and build territory sales plan; deliver on annual sales.
- Understand territory sales data and develop a unique strategy for growth.
- Attend appropriate events annually within your territory.
- Educate partners (breeders, shelters, and working dog) on Royal Canin and Eukanuba nutritional diets and programs.
- Recommend Royal Canin and Eukanuba Healthy Pet and Reproductive/SOL nutritional solutions.
- Present customer programming and build estimated feeding guidelines / budget.
- Drive recommendation from partners.
- Recruit and source new partner acquisition across working professionals.
- Collaborate with PSRO and Vet colleagues to drive PRO business and recommendations.
- Achieve profitable sales growth objectives within assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with key individuals within PRO customers and recommend Mars products as their primary diet for clients.
- Collaborate with your team and other company associates to provide valuable contributions and customer insights to your regional team.
- Attend and participate in events, regional and company meetings/conference calls as required.
- Complete weekly activity, expenses, and other ad-hoc reporting as needed by your manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 2+ years’ sales experience, preferably B2B.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
- Knowledge of or interest in pet professional/nutrition industry.
- Experience & proficient in Excel, Power
BI, Salesforce, etc. - Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Overnight travel required up to 50%, occasional weekends for conferences and events.

Base Pay Range: USD 68,692.00 - USD 94,453.00. Total compensation includes variable pay, medical and dental benefits, 401(k) participation, and paid time off.
