Hospice Marketing and Business Development Liaison
Join the team at Athena Health Care Systems and play a key role in expanding referral relationships and marketing efforts for Hospice of Western & Central Massachusetts. This is a salaried position with pay up to $83,200 plus an incentive program.
Shift: Monday‑Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with weekly pay. The role includes on‑road responsibilities; a candidate must have an insured vehicle.
Responsibilities- Act as a liaison between referral accounts, the community, and the agency to identify and develop new potential referral sources.
- Develop and maintain a monthly and daily marketing plan based on needs.
- Maximize census through effective marketing, sales calls, and public relations in accordance with the Home Health and Hospice goals.
- Effectively develop and implement monthly marketing plans that are organized and strategic through geographic planning, completion of daily marketing/admission action plans, targeting account assignments, adherence to account assignments, sales call frequency, and strategy for account development, including vertical account development.
- Manage marketing/sales budgets.
- Track and evaluate referrals.
- Ensure external sales calls are effective.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective families and applicants.
- Bachelor's degree in sales and marketing preferred.
- Experience in healthcare (hospice, long-term care, acute care, etc.) required.
