Mobile Tire and Maintenance Technician - Worcester, MA

About the Role

As a Mobile Tire and Maintenance Technician, you will operate a high‑tech service van to install, repair, and maintain tires for fleet customers at their locations. Your work will ensure customer satisfaction through technical excellence and attentive service.

Responsibilities
  • Perform basic tire services, including mounting, dismounting, and repairs.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by answering questions, explaining the installation process, and fully understanding the customer's needs.
  • Demonstrate proficient knowledge of Goodyear products, warranties, promotions, and advertising.
  • Represent Goodyear along the route and maintain a safe, professional appearance.
  • Conduct proper safety checks when installing tires.
  • Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, including light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.
  • Provide other preventive maintenance on commercial vehicles as needed.
Qualifications
  • Previous customer service experience is required.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
  • No relocation is being offered for this position.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous tire installation experience, 1–2 years.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Shift Information

Shift schedule: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift. The position may require occasional nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
