Description and ResponsibilitiesOpen Sky is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our in-house Maintenance team! The Maintenance Technician will collaborate with the Property Manager to develop routine and preventative maintenance schedules for properties within their assigned territory. They will also plan, initiate and execute projects, troubleshoot any repair/maintenance issues arising from the building’s utility systems which can include electrical, heating, air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing and fire protection.
OtherKey Responsibilities
- Perform inspections of assigned properties at least twice per year.
- Perform turnovers for agency-supported apartments and move-out inspections/repairs in group residences as needed.
- Utilize the Property Services Software (Wor Xhub) to complete work orders assigned by the Property Manager and Program Staff.
- Ensure all properties meet local, state and federal building codes.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history, required.
- Previous experience with facilities maintenance, including knowledge and practice of carpentry, electrical, and plumbing skills with working knowledge of safety procedures and building code regulations, required.
- Must achieve OSHA 10 certification within one year of hire.
Maintenance Tech I (0‑3 years experience): $23.00 per hour
Maintenance Tech II (3+ years experience): $25.12 per hour
