Job SummaryUnder general direction, inspects, installs, repairs, and replaces pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures to maintain the hospital’s heating, water, gas, and drainage systems. Installs new plumbing system components, faucets, sinks, toilets, valves, etc. Assists the Director in planning for expansion/renovation projects and forecasting operating budgets and capital needs. Performs related tasks to maintenance, service, repair, testing, inspection and installation of plumbing/piping systems and components;
maintains inventory of parts and supplies. May provide assistance to other maintenance personnel and, at management’s discretion, perform other duties consistent with training and department demands.

High school diploma or equivalent. - Preferred

Graduate of trade or vocational school in related field.
Experience:
- Required

Five years of progressive experience with a plumbing or construction company or experience in a commercial or hospital service environment.
Certifications:
- Required
:
Master plumber license.
