Do you enjoy coaching and teaching swimming? Do you have excellent communication skills and enjoy being part of a team environment? If so, please consider applying and joining the Aquatics team at the Greendale Family Branch YMCA.
Responsibilities- Coach the swim team at least one night a week from 5:30pm to 8:30pm
- Attend monthly coaching meetings
- Attend and work swim meets at a minimum of one weekend per month
- Create a positive learning environment for young swimmers
- Demonstrate the YMCA's mission and values when coaching members
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be CPR, First Aid, and AED Certified
- Must hold current Lifeguard Certification
- Have at least 2 years of competitive swimming experience
- Has experience working with children from 5-19 years old
- Knowledgeable about vocabulary and terms used in competitive swimming
- Job Type: Part-Time
- Schedule:
Weekdays 5:00pm - 8:30pm, and open availability on weekends for Swim Meets - Pay: $16.00 an hour. Plus, access to YMCA facilities for all YMCA employees, Employee Assistance Program, and Sick Leave
