Pallet Sorter

Overview

At Imperial, we sell, distribute, and service General Merchandise, Seasonal Products, and Health/Beauty/Wellness Products to our customers. As a Pallet Sorter you will support the Shipping team by providing the necessary tools for maintaining customer satisfaction. Schedule:

Monday‑Friday 7:00 AM‑3:30 PM.

• Fully trained and fluent on Transporter & Dock Stocker PITS
• Utilize powered industrial equipment to unload pallets from trailers
• Sort and deliver ready‑to‑use pallets to the shipping/bulk departments
• Sort and deliver broken pallets to appropriate areas
• Unload trailers of totes and deliver to assigned areas
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards
• Perform other duties and tasks assigned

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills, including login, password, and following simple instructions
• Previous experience helpful (1–3 months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
• Ability to add and subtract two‑digit numbers and to multiply and divide with tens and hundreds
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight, measurement, volume, and distance
