Driver / Warehouse Hybrid

Reports to: Facility supervisor or management designee
DescriptionThe responsibilities include collecting customer information across media types and operating company vehicles with adherence to federal and state transportation laws. The role combines driving for customer service and warehouse operations.
Essential Functions- Drive vans or box trucks to customer locations.
- Arrive on time and prepared to perform duties.
- Meet productivity and quality standards.
- Follow direction and respond to requests.
- Assist customers with service requests.
- Complete all other duties assigned by supervisor.
- In inclement weather, report two hours early to allow for delays and tire chain preparation.
- Operate forklift and picker forklift or other equipment.
- Barcode new boxes and process scheduled for destruction.
- Pull access list and refile boxes/files.
- Perform bay consolidation responsibilities.
- Conduct safety check before equipment sign-out, battery, brakes, lift controls, fire extinguisher.
- Move boxes safely to assigned area.
- Maintain warehouse and vehicle upkeep.
- Make pickups and deliveries.
- At day end, return equipment to charging station and prepare for overnight charge.
- Positive respectful attitude.

- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Self-motivated and works well under pressure.
- Good knowledge of city streets or map reading.
- Use handheld device, electric pickers, drive van or box truck.
Must tolerate heat in summer and cold in winter.
Physical DemandsStand, walk regularly; sit, climb/balance, stoop, kneel, crouch occasionally; reach, handle, carry 10–50 lbs; talk, hear, read, identify numbers.
Education and Eligibility Requirements- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- MVR check, background check, random drug screens.
- Carry a cell phone for constant communication with Records Center.
- Strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Availability for overtime, around the clock including holidays.
- Strong directional awareness and navigational skills.
- Commercial driver’s license, if applicable.
