Summary:

At Imperial, we sell, distribute, and service General Merchandise, Seasonal Products, and Health/Beauty/Wellness Products to our customers. Support Production Leadership to ensure that the material handling flow and batch integrity are within compliance.

Warehouse experience is preferred.

Schedule: 4 days, 10 hours per day from 6am to 4:30pm, Saturdays required

Essential Responsibilities and

Duties Include:

• Clear blue lights in assigned area/pick module.
• Monitor and arrange low batches to the front of the zones in assigned area.
• Promptly communicate any jams or flow issues in their respective area to leadership.
• Promptly communicate any lack of available work or excess staff in their respective area to leadership.
• Assists in Induction/tote prep (labeling, loading conveyor belt, etc).
• Pull totes off conveyor belt on 3 rd floor or wherever assigned, when assigned.
• Collects and stray UFO/Damage items and brings them to appropriate receptacle.
• Other duties/tasks as assigned.

Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills – requiring able to use a log in and password and follow simple instructions.
• Some warehouse experience preferred but not required
• Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and difference between words and between series of numbers.
• Ability to speak and understand in simple English.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide by 10’s and 100’s.
• Correctly hear and follow instructions from a voice headset, or read instructions from a scanner, computer or paper sheet.
• Ability to read alpha and numerical codes

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• Continuously perform repetitive physical tasks involving frequent walking, reaching, bending, lifting, twisting, pushing/pulling, and standing.
• Correctly hear instructions from a voice headset, or read instructions from a scanner, computer or paper sheet.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally team lift up to 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
