As an Audit Senior, you will take a lead role in managing audit assignments from planning through to completion, working with a varied portfolio of clients including SMEs, owner-managed businesses and larger corporate entities. You will liaise directly with clients, supervise junior team members and ensure compliance with UK accounting and auditing standards. This role offers genuine scope for career progression within a supportive and collaborative audit team.
The successful candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist) with strong experience gained within a UK accountancy practice. Key Responsibilities- Leading and managing statutory audit assignments from planning to completion
- Supervising, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior staff
- Ensuring compliance with UK auditing standards and internal procedures
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified
- At least three years' experience working within a UK Practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple audit assignments and meet deadlines
