Ready to take the next step in your accountancy career? We’re delighted to be supporting an established accountancy practice in Worcester with the appointment of a Senior Accountant to join their growing team.
This is a great opportunity for an ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified accountant looking for a varied role where you can take ownership of a portfolio, build strong client relationships and develop your technical and commercial experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
Managing a varied portfolio of clients, acting as a key point of contact and building strong working relationships
Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for a range of businesses
Supporting clients with personal and business tax compliance and advisory matters
Providing commercial advice and identifying opportunities to support clients’ wider business objectives
Reviewing work completed by junior team members and providing guidance and support
Delegating work where appropriate and helping to develop more junior members of the team
Managing your own portfolio and ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
Working closely with partners and colleagues to deliver a high-quality service to clients
About You
ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified
Previous experience working within an accountancy practice
Strong technical accounting knowledge and excellent attention to detail
Confident communicating with clients and building strong professional relationships
Commercially aware with the ability to understand and respond to clients’ needs
Organised and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
A proactive approach with a genuine desire to progress your career
