The Role
As a Prep Technician, you ll play a vital role in ensuring our vehicles are prepared to the highest standards before reaching customers. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to quality will help deliver the exceptional experience our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Carrying out detailed pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles
- Completing repairs and preparation work in line with manufacturer standards
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out corrective work where required
- Working efficiently to agreed timescales while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Delivering first-time fixes and ensuring vehicles are prepared to the highest standard
- Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
To be successful in this role, you ll ideally have:
- A Level 2/3 Automotive qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician
- Your own set of tools
- A full UK driving licence
- A positive attitude and pride in delivering high-quality work
