Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable main dealership in Worcester, Worcestershire, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their high-performing workshop.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced Vehicle Technicians to work within a modern environment that supports professional development, training, and career progression.

Key Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician will include:

Salary up to £45,000 basic, with an OTE of approximately £48,000 depending on experience
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings

Duties:

Conduct routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards
Accurately complete job cards, reports, and workshop documentation
Diagnose vehicle faults effectively and recommend appropriate solutions
Support colleagues with complex repairs and technical tasks
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional working environment
Ensure workshop standards are consistently upheld and health & safety protocols are followed

Requirements for the Vehicle Technician position:

NVQ/IMI Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
Proven experience within a main dealership or quality independent workshop
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities
Full UK Driving Licence with minimal penalty points
MOT licence, hybrid/electric vehicle qualifications, or VAG brand experience are advantageous but not essential
Reliable team player committed to high-quality workmanship
