Nursery Practitioner

Position: Nursery Practitioner (Permanent)
Full Time | Permanent | 37.5 Hours Per Week
£12.21 per hour (or age-related minimum wage if under 21)

A warm, nurturing and child-centred day nursery in Worcester (WR4 area) is seeking a Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a patient, caring and motivated practitioner who enjoys working in a busy, rewarding Early Years environment.

About the Role

You will be working 37.5 hours per week, on a rota between 8:00am and 6:00pm, covering one of the following shifts each day:

* 8:00am – 4:00pm

* 9:00am – 5:00pm

* 10:00am – 6:00pm

Each shift includes a 0.5 hour unpaid break (7.5 paid hours per day).
No evenings or weekends.
Overtime is available between 8:00am–6:00pm.

You will be primarily supporting children aged 18 months to 2.5 years, providing high-quality care, following children’s interests, and supporting their individual needs.

The nursery supports a diverse community, including children who may require additional emotional and developmental support. They are looking for someone who is calm, patient and confident supporting children with varied needs.

Interview Process

The interview process consists of:

* Stage 1: 30-minute face-to-face interview
