Kinship Social Worker – Care and Support

Salary: £34,434 to £41,771 per annum

Hours: 30 Hours per Week

Worcestershire County Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the Fostering and Kinship Service to undertake support and supervision of our kinship foster carers.

• Assess and supervise Foster Carers
• Undertake Viability, Private Fostering and Special Guardianship Assessments for court submission

• A professional qualification in social work
• Current Social Work England registration
• Post qualifying experience in Children and Families work
• Proven experience of completing Social Work assessments, preferably experience of fostering annual reviews
• Good knowledge of the fostering regulations and minimum standards
