Duties of A Service Advisor:

Managing customer bookings to ensure workshop efficiency
Providing regular updates to customers about vehicle progress and repair times
Producing accurate job cards, invoices, estimates, and associated documentation
Clearly explaining completed work to clients
Identifying additional aftersales opportunities when appropriate
Liaising with parts department regarding parts availability
Recording retail, warranty, and non-chargeable repairs precisely
Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction at all times

Requirements of A Service Advisor:

Previous experience as a Service Advisor is highly advantageous
Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
Strong administrative and organisational abilities
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Experience working within an office or administrative environment is desirable
Kerridge system knowledge would be beneficial
Customer-focused attitude and professional approach
