Customer Service Rep, Retail Associate/ Customer Service
We're looking for a Service Team Member to join us to support our busy teams across visitor operations. This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll help us meet targets, solve problems, and deliver great service across different locations.
Based primarily at Croome, you'll also support sites across the Worcestershire Portfolio, including The Firs, Greyfriars House and Garden, and Hanbury Hall. As travel between sites is required, please think about how you would get to work before applying for this role.
Salary: £13.25 per hour
Contract Duration: Permanent
Working Hours: You will work 800 hours per year. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amountof hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. Your shift pattern will vary according to business needs, but regular weekend and Bank Holiday working should be expected.
Interview Date: Thursday 17th September

What it's like to work hereAs part of our Welcome Team, you'll ensure visitors enjoy their experience from arrival to departure, sharing insights into all that Croome has to offer, and providing a warm and informative welcome to every visitor. You'll be one of seven Service Team Members, working alongside a brilliant team of volunteers and reporting to the Welcome Manager.
What you'll be doingThe core part of your role is to provide vital, positive support to colleagues wherever needed, with a strong focus on greeting and helping visitors. No two days will be the same, as you'll work across a variety of visitor areas and sites, helping to deliver excellent service and achieve team targets.
You'll take a friendly, helpful approach to resolving customer queries. Tasks could include welcoming visitors, restocking shelves in the shop, clearing tables in the café, and answering questions so visitors can make the most of their visit.
You'll also play an active role in promoting the National Trust and its benefits, identify opportunities to encourage membership sales and inspire ongoing support for our work in protecting special places for everyone, for ever.
