UF Health Physician - Gastroenterologist - Durbin Park

About the Role

UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville is hiring three Gastroenterologists for UF Health Durbin Park in St. Johns, Florida. Candidates must be an MD or DO, Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology, with broad experience in evaluation, treatment, and minimally invasive procedures.

• Deliver high‑quality patient care across all aspects of Gastroenterology services.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, including nurse practitioners, nursing staff, pharmacists, and other colleagues.
• Maintain excellent communication with primary care providers, consulting services, and other referring physicians.
• Assist in marketing the gastroenterology program to community physicians and managed care organizations.
• Participate in peer review, quality assurance, provider/departmental meetings, and other clinical and operational meetings as requested.

• Licensed to practice medicine in Florida under Chapter 458, Florida Statutes.
• Four (4) or more years of appropriate experience in Gastroenterology or residency program completion as a substitute.
• Board Certified or Eligible in General Gastroenterology.
• Medical degree (MD, DO, or foreign equivalent) and, if applicable, federal DEA certification.
