Early Years Phase Leader

Our Lady of the Magnificat MAC are seeking to appoint an experienced and inspirational Early Years Phase Leader to lead our Nursery and Reception Provision. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to shape the vision and drive excellence across the Early Years Foundation Stage. This role will be based er’s Catholic First School Bromsgrove.

This is a full-time position, working 5 days per week plus INSET days.

The successful candidate will:

  • have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and significant experience in Early Years education
  • have a proven track recordofimpactful leadership within an EYFS setting
  • have a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
  • have excellent communication,organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • be a visionary leader with a passion for inspiring young learners and empowering staff.

As Early Years Phase Leader, you will:

  • provide strategic leadership for the Early Years team, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment
  • model outstanding practice and mentor colleagues to develop their skills and confidence
  • lead curriculum planning and innovation, ensuring a rich, engaging, and inclusive learning experience for all children
  • monitor and evaluate pupil progress,using data to inform improvement strategies
  • work collaboratively with senior leaders, parents, and external agencies to secure the best outcomes for every child
  • champion earlyyearspedagogyand contribute to whole-school development priorities.
  • be supportive of the Catholic Ethos of our school
